ICON Switzerland 2018 – #dominoforever

For the 7th time the ICON Switzerland Customer Forum was hold at the University of Zurich. The forum last week, which of course was dedicated to the launch of Domino/Notes on October 10, took place for the second time in the building, where among others Nobel Prize winners Erwin Schrödinger and Albert Einstein taught and researched. We were very happy that IBM with HCL started the new Domino/Notes era in Switzerland with ICON Switzerland and supported us not only with excellent speakers.

Already the first ICON Switzerland event in the same lecture hall Lotus Notes, which was presented in an unforgettable user blast by Mat Newman, was the focus of attention. For Bob Schulz, IBM General Manager Watson Talent & Collaboration and Luis Guirigay, WW Executive IT Specialist, IBM, Mat Newmann could not have raised higher the expectations. For the following podium, Huguette Ranc, Vice President, IBM Social Business and Collaboration Solutions Sales, Europe, Richard Jefts Vice President and General Manager Collaborative Workflow Platform, HCL and Andreas Ponte, CEO Belsoft Collaboration AG along with Bob and Luis, answered the audience’s questions. It was the first time that IBM and HCL asked questions together in public and the lively discussion and open explanations rounded off the forum very nicely. #dominoforever. Sorry, the panel discussion has not been recorded and will remain a lasting memory for the participants.
