Avoid starting problems with IBM Notes on MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

IBM Notes 64-bit client runs on a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar only when Interim Fix8 is installed. If you install Plugins for Connections or Sametime after Interim Fix8, IBM Notes usually no longer starts. At least this was often the case with us. Installed in the following order, this problem can be avoided.

  1. 64bit Notes Client
  2. Sametime Plugins for Sametime 9.0.1
  3. Connections Plugin
  4. Notes_901IF8_MAC64_Standard

If IBM Notes no longer starts after you install the plugins, uninstall IBM Notes completely and install in the above order.
